INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS BY SCHOOL

EASTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY
To register the internship with EWU, you must follow these steps:

Meet with your Faculty Internship Advisor

Enroll the internship for credit

Meet with your Internship Site Supervisor - this will be a public defender with SMCC
-
Submit your Internship Experience using Handshake
-
Make sure that the Site Supervisor completes your mid-term and final evaluation

We can offer 4-8 hour/week internship positions for a quarter's length, which is equivalent to 1-2 credits at EWU.
GONZAGA UNIVERSITY

SPOKANE COMMUNITY COLLEGE

SPOKANE FALLS COMMUNITY COLLEGE

WHITWORTH UNIVERSITY
We can offer 60-120 hour/semester internship positions for a quarter's length, which is equivalent to 1-3 credits at Whitworth.
(40 hours = 1 credit)
To register the internship with Whitworth, you must:

Request approval from your designated faculty internship advisor by meeting with them to develop an internship contract

Complete the required paperwork

Have your worksite supervisor (this will be a public defender at SMCC) sign off on the internship contract

Record your hours and activities on the Internship Time Log
